Around the Town Chamber Concert - Lincoln Walks at Midnight

Join us for a special Around the Town Chamber Concert featuring a string quartet from the Illinois Symphony Orchestra performing music by African American female composer Florence Price. The concert will kick-off with a special guided tour of the Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum followed by concert with a discussion panel.

Our FREE Around the Town Chamber Concert series is a unique, engaging chamber music experience that allows YOU, the audience, a chance to get to know our musicians in an intimate setting. The series offers audiences of all ages an opportunity to experience a diverse repertoire of music in a variety of settings. From churches to historical sites to libraries to art galleries or online, this series offers something for everyone!
