Rehearsal Schedule

The 2024-2025 Illinois Symphony Youth Orchestras rehearsal schedule for ensembles that meet weekly at the Grant Conservatory of Music and Dance is listed below. The Grant Conservatory of Music and Dance is located at 501 W. Elliott Avenue, Springfield, IL 62702. Onsite school-based Starter & Junior Strings classes will be notified of their schedules as that information becomes available.

Starter Strings - Community Class

This is a beginner class for students entering grades 3-6 who are interested in learning to play the violin or viola. 

Junior Strings - Community Class

This class is for violin, viola, or cello musicians with approximately 1 year of experience or have completed Starter Strings in the 2023-2024 season.
