Music as Medicine (Formerly Doctors in Concert)

Join us for the Illinois Symphony Guild of Bloomington-Normal's Music as Medicine (Formerly Doctors in Concert) fundraising event at 5:30 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at The Chateau Hotel & Conference Center in Bloomington-Normal. This unique fundraising event is just what the doctor ordered! It's an evening of hors d'oeuvres, libations, and LIVE music performed by doctors from the Bloomington-Normal area.

All funds raised will support the following educational programs of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra:
- Music Matters! where ISO musicians visit schools and demonstrate their instruments and inspire entire classrooms.
- Concerts for Kids 2024 was themed Take Me Out to the Symphony! It was engaging, hilarious, informative and HIGH energy. There were over 2,200 students & chaperones who attended two performances in Bloomington-Normal.
- Music Scholarships are awarded annually to promising music students in grades 8-12 to help them pay for private lessons.
