The Illinois Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce auditions to fill positions in the Strings including 1st Assistant Concertmaster (One-Year Contract), Violin I-9, Violin II-9, Cello 3, & Cello 7.

The Illinois Symphony Orchestra is now accepting video auditions from qualified applicants for all orchestral instruments for our Substitute lists.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in music performance on a string instrument and/or a degree in music education with a string/orchestra focus or relevant experience.
