Your Illinois Symphony Orchestra will perform two Holiday Pops in the Heartland concerts during the 2025-2026 season at the Illinois State Library while the UIS Performing Arts Center undergoes construction for a plumbing project. We look forward to welcoming you this holiday season at the Illinois State Library.
Important Ticket Information:
Tickets for all Illinois Symphony Orchestra season concerts will NOT be sold by the UIS Ticket Office at the Illinois State Library. There will be a place to scan a QR code to purchase tickets through the online ticketing system. We encourage you to buy your tickets prior to the concert.

- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: Closed
- Performance Days: Will Call will open one hour prior to the concert.
Important Venue Information:
What entrance do I use?
Concertgoers may enter the Illinois State Library through the entrance located on Monroe Street. This is the ONLY public entrance. Doors will open one hour prior to the concert.
Where may I park?
Parking for our Holiday Pops in the Heartland concerts is available at the following locations:
- Parking Lots: Concertgoers may park at the following parking lots and/or garage at no cost on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
- Illinois State Armory Lot: Located off of Monroe Street behind the Illinois State Armory or across from the Illinois State Capitol.
- Illinois Supreme Court / Illinois Attorney General's Office: Located off of Capitol Avenue behind the Illinois Supreme Court and Illinois Attorney General and across from the Illinois State Library.
- INB Parking Garage: Located on the corner of Fourth Street & Capitol Avenue. Concertgoers may enter the garage through the entrance on Fourth Street and may park on Levels 2 through the top level. Parking garage gates will open at 1:30 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Street parking: The City of Springfield has declared a snow emergency from Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 AM through 12 PM Tuesday, December 16. All roads included in snow emergency routes are not available for street parking. Street parking is not available on 2nd street or Monroe Street. You may find a map of the snow emergency routes here.
