First Presbyterian Church - Springfield

Your Illinois Symphony Orchestra performs Chamber Orchestra concerts at the First Presbyterian Church. Tickets for Chamber Orchestra concerts may be purchased through the UIS Ticket Office or at First Presbyterian Church prior to the performance.

Tickets for all Illinois Symphony Orchestra season concerts are sold through the UIS Ticket Office. Tickets may be purchased by in-person, by phone, or online.

Tickets may be purchased at First Presbyterian Church one hour prior to the performance.

Parking

Navigate the downtown area with this parking list.

• FREE street parking surrounding First Presbyterian Church.
• FREE parking available in Grace Lutheran Church’s lot (located at the corner of 7th & Capitol Avenue)
• FREE parking available in the Bus Lot at Lincoln's Home (Immediately south of Grace Lutheran Church on 7th Street)
• FREE parking available in the City Garage at 801 E. Capitol (between Library and Firehouse) after 6:00 PM
• FREE parking is available in the Parking Garage located next to the old Wyndham Hotel (Corner of 7th Street & Monroe Street). The parking garage is open 24 hours and free (No attendances of security presence in the lot).
• PAID Springfield Downtown Parking Garage (Located at Corner of 6th Street & Capitol Avenue):  Parking rates are $2.49 for the first hour and $1.50 for each additional hour. 
  Springfield Downtown Parking Garage is NOW operated by Metropolis. In order to park in lot, patrons need to register with Metropolis. Registration can be completed in advance at https://app.metropolis.io/ by following the prompts and entering your cell phone number, license plate number, and payment information. After this one-time setup, your license plate will be automatically read when you enter and exit the garage. You may also register by scanning the QR code posted at the garage.

ACCESSIBILITY DROP-OFF:

Passengers may be dropped off on 7th Street in front of the church. Guests may enter through the red doors at the front of the building or use the ramp on the north side, accessible from 7th Street.
